I'll pass along your words to John as well. Wishing you the best.Clara Finleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17446914113663663484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473121027548923161.post-14073350794107930552015-11-12T16:57:22.485-08:002015-11-12T16:57:22.485-08:00Enjoyed your interviews with John J. Which is so pleasing to the eyes and mind rather then some who are interview try to talk as William F. Buckley, Jr and leave most in the dark ....Which I'm sure John could do ....I have enjoy collecting Roycroft books for many years but not on the high end such as John and other collectors with them deep pockets...when I get lightheaded and my feet come of the ground ,,,my wife fills my pockets full of rocks ... and tells me I have enough books...' but I have a feeling I'll be hunting down one of John's books by Yellow Barn Press rocks or not ... The Morrisian is a great site for all to learn from , I was disappointed when I got my Roycroft book on Morris ...Elbert has a habit to interject him self in to other people writings ...but that just ego I guess ..anyways nice write up and good questions to boot ...John Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06642931393016938084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473121027548923161.post-69924580789752404722015-11-12T10:32:09.732-08:002015-11-12T10:32:09.732-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06642931393016938084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473121027548923161.post-72312507870224471192015-11-12T10:30:46.565-08:002015-11-12T10:30:46.565-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06642931393016938084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473121027548923161.post-23468273935137258532013-09-06T20:38:50.500-07:002013-09-06T20:38:50.500-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Human Hair Extensions Online Shophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04705114057100904297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473121027548923161.post-32254323875360915752013-04-14T05:38:55.681-07:002013-04-14T05:38:55.681-07:00Tony: thank you very much. Though I do tend to think that we all add up to a type of whole. I enjoy your blog quite alot, so it's good to hear that The Morrisian is on your reading list from time to time.Clara Finleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17446914113663663484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473121027548923161.post-82626632402559833252013-04-13T00:45:22.886-07:002013-04-13T00:45:22.886-07:00This series of interviews is an excellent project,...This series of interviews is an excellent project, Clara - well done for devising it. I must say that, as an English admirer of Morris for whom his socialism and utopianism are central, I find the American world of Morrisian book collecting a very curious and unfamiliar phenomenon! Perhaps these two subcultures - political Morrisians and book-collecting Morrisians - constitute what Theodor Adorno would have called (talking about modernism and mass-culture) the "twin halves of an integral freedom to which, however, they do not add up". Morris himself could hold them together, but we've not been able to. Makiko Minow-Pinkneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07706681425693288917noreply@blogger.com
